What is an "App User"?

An App User is a user who can access all rooms, create rooms, and login to the Roomlio Desktop and Mobile apps. Using the apps allows users to quickly switch between rooms, manage customers, students, clients, etc. Examples of App users are all internal employees using Roomlio (operators), Sales Managers managing client specific rooms, Teachers managing student/class specific rooms, Experts managing rooms for their clients, etc. App users count towards billing whether they are active in a given month or not.

What is an "Active Embed User"?

An Embed User is a user who only uses Roomlio through our embed code and can only belong to a single room. Think of Embed Users as your customers, clients, students, organization members who are using your apps where you embed Roomlio. "Active" means we record the number of embed users online at any given time. The plan limit for "Active Embed Users" is the maximum amount of embed users active at any given time during your monthly billing period.

What happens when I exceed the allowed users in my plan tier?

By default, your account will stop accepting new users. But you can choose to allow overages up to a max amount you specify. We will charge $13 for each extra App User and and additional 10 Active Embed Users. We will notify you as you encounter overages.

What does unlimited rooms mean?

We allow you to create as many rooms as you need and don't charge you for them. We only charge based on number of users. So you don't need to worry about creating many rooms for each of your customers, accounts, clients, students, departments, teams, intranet or anything else you want to create chat rooms for.

What does unlimited bandwidth mean?

We have to pay for CDNs to deliver our embed code fast and in a scalable way. We don't charge you for that.

What is White Label widget?

We have a very subtle link in our embed code that says "Powered by Roomlio". This helps us grow and provide you with even better services. Some companies want to remove that and we understand. If your plan supports "White label widget", you can disable that link.

Is there a trial period?

Yes! We offer a 14 free trial on all acccounts and it gives you full access just as you would have as a paying customer.

Do I have to enter a credit card to use the service?

Nope. Our free trials do not require a credit card. If you enter a credit card before your trial ends, we will only charge you once your trial period is over.

Do I have to sign a contract or have a annual commitment?

No, you can cancel anytime.
